What is Tap Twinning?

What is Tap Twinning?
Tap Twinning is raising funds for FREDAfrica to enable people living in poor communities have access to clean water, a decent toilet, and to learn about hygiene, a vital combination that prevents the spread of disease, reduces the number of deaths among children, and brings hope for the future.

1. Every minute, three children under the age of five die because of dirty water and poor sanitation. (WHO)

2. Right now, more than 50 per cent of hospital beds in developing countries are filled with people who have an illness caused by poor sanitation or dirty water.

3. In Africa, half of young girls who drop out of school do so because they need to collect water often from many miles away. Water is collected from open water bodies such as river, lakes, and ponds.

4. 84% of people in rural communities drink unbilled water which put them at a risk of water bone diseases. Every minute three children die due to dirty and un-boiled water.

5.The good news is you can help making a difference and save lives of people.
